Jaime’s debut memoir, Dancing Naked in the Snow, was born from one of life's great initiations: navigating the unraveling of a marriage through betrayal and the tender, voracious, and often hilarious work of finding herself again. Writing became both compass and companion, threading her through grief, desire, sexuality, and ultimately, reclamation. The book is not a prescription for how to survive divorce, but an exploration of what can become possible when we are willing to meet ourselves differently in the aftermath of what we thought would be our lives.
We are flooded with messages about what love should look like, what sex should feel like, what healing should require. And somewhere in all that noise, we lose the sound of our own knowing.
Along with a reading and signing, Jaime will take some time to give you a glimpse of how her work as a Sex and Relationship Coach helped her understand that intimacy can not only be a place where pleasure is experienced, but also a place where healing is possible. Learning how to refine what we are looking for within intimacy is the first step. She’ll spend a bit of time teaching, how to do just that.
